Manel Tornero, with a time of 14:57 was the winner in the category of absolute in the Cursa Popular de Artigas 2009 held on July 25, the day of the Festa Major de Artigas in Badalona. Enric Hernandez won in veterans category and Cristina Guibas in feminine absolute. In the course of skates and bikes, the highlight winner was Hichan Bouagba, neighbor of Artigas.
On the day of Festa Major, there were non-stop activities for children with workshops from Esplai Alezeyas and circus games from Strope Circus.
