Manel Tornero, with a time of 14:57 was the winner in the category of absolute in the Cursa Popular de Artigas 2009 held on July 25, the day of the Festa Major de Artigas in Badalona. Enric Hernandez won in veterans category and Cristina Guibas in feminine absolute. In the course of skates and bikes, the highlight winner was Hichan Bouagba, neighbor of Artigas.
On the day of Festa Major, there were non-stop activities for children with workshops from Esplai Alezeyas and circus games from Strope Circus. The Raffle of Esplai did not cease until he left ... the sandwich machine! The photos of the courses and the Festa Major de Artigas may be seen in the photo section of the website.

On April 28th took place in AVV Artigas the first class of self defense for women, led by the master of martial arts and black belt, Josep Pla i Falcón. The course teaches basic techniques of self defense against violence against women.
